The Council of Chiefs
What is it?
The Council of Chiefs, is a group of Arrowmen who work together to coordinate and plan events at the section level. It is the section level equivalent of a Lodge Executive Council.
What is a Council of Chiefs (COC) meeting like?
Council of Chief meetings are similar to an LECM (Lodge Executive Committee Meeting). Lodges give reports on their current status, tackle issues, and work towards planning the future of the section.
Who is a COC member?
- Lodge Chiefs, their advisers, and two Section Representatives from each lodge
- Conclave Vice Chiefs (CVC) and their advisers
- Section Officers and their advisers
Anyone who wishes to attend a COC meeting, may attend, however, please notify your lodge chief before the gathering.
How can I become a COC member?
- Become a Lodge Chief
- Be appointed a Conclave Vice Chief (CVC)
- Become a Section Officer
- Become an Adviser for your home Lodge
- Become an Adviser for a CVC
- Become either a Section Adviser or Associate Section adviser
