NOAC is barely over and already I am excited about the next one in 2015 and celebrating our Order's 100th anniversary! Why am I excited? The next three years will be a time when every lodge in our section and the nation will explore and document their roots, prepare a symbolic rock that will represent them in a National fireplace project, and find ways to connect their lodge with all others in what I expect will be a huge Brotherhood campfire!
But it doesn't have to end there. Each lodge should begin organizing a centennial committee that can task itself to provide new levels of service to their council and communities; develop involvement with new and old members; and build leadership skills in all lodge members with a goal of bringing the largest contingents ever to the next National Conference!
Already our lodges are supporting each other in strengthening ceremonies teams, starting dance and drum teams, and providing combined service in our communities.
